Dr. Pradeep Sylva is a clinician with over 20 years of practice as a Dental Surgeon, both in state and private sector. He is also a Health Informatician, who has contributed strategizing digital health in Sri Lanka. He holds a Bachelor Degree in Dentistry, a Master’s Degree in Biomedical Informatics and a Doctoral Degree in Health Informatics. He is further qualified as a TOGAF certified Enterprise Architect. He is currently attached to the University of Southampton as Research Fellow (Systems, Support and Strategy) and contributes to work related to COVID19 saliva testing programme and Platform for Planet, Place and People initiative, under the Commonwealth’s Systems Framework for Healthy Policy. He further contributes to the digital strategy alignment work for the University Hospital Southampton. Dr. Sylva has a keen interest on digital health policies, strategies, governance structures, architectural frameworks, guidelines and standards.
