Mudarshiru holds a BSc in biological sciences from Kyambogo University, an MPH from the School of Public Health, Makerere University, Uganda and a post-graduate diploma in Project Planning and Management from Uganda Management Institute. He is currently a Research Fellow at the Makerere University Lung Institute. He is currently a Research Fellow at the Makerere University Lung Institute. He is an experienced public research scientist with a demonstrated history of working in public health and basic science research institutions and in the COVID-19 response in Uganda. His main interests include research in lung health especially tuberculosis and its interaction with HIV, and recently the COVID-19 pathophysiology. Mr Bbuye is currently the Coordinator and Resource Review consultant for the Coalition’s Virology, Immunology, and Diagnostic Working Group.
