Join this World Health Assembly virtual side event on 18 May on the lessons learned from the Covid-19 Technology Access Pool (C-TAP). The World Health Organization (WHO) launched this platform two years ago to enable developers of medical products against Covid-19 to share their intellectual property and know-how with other manufacturers in order to maximize production capacity. What has become of this ambition? And what is needed to unleash the potential of C-TAP, also for future pandemic preparedness and response?

At the event, diverse stakeholders will share their experiences, insights, and recommendations regarding C-TAP and/or a future technology sharing mechanism as part of global pandemic preparedness and response.
