1st Coalition Members Assembly
All members are invited to attend the COVID-19 Clinical Research Coalition’s Members Assembly in June, a large participatory online event that will be convened for the first time a year after launching the coalition.
Featuring working groups of the coalition and members of the Steering Committee , the Members Assembly will seek to:
- review and discuss the activities and proposed projects of the coalition’s working groups,
- share the efforts and ambitions of its members,
- make plans to advance proposals to address some of the top priority, under-addressed research questions in low-resource settings, as identified by several working groups.
As a follow-up to the recent meeting on “COVID-19 Research in LMICs”, the Members Assembly aims to build on the momentum of the priority research questions that have been identified. A subsequent meeting with research funders is planned for mid-June to promote and advocate the refined working group proposals.
It is an excellent opportunity to learn more about the coalition’s activities over the past year, feature a dialogue about research priorities, and identify opportunities for members and their institutions to engage.
